Fashion blogger Sara Donaldson of The Undone and Harper & Harley and Richard Crampton recently tied the knot in a breath-taking outdoor ceremony at Byron Bay.

The Ceremony

The couple celebrated the occasion in the hinterland of Byron Bay— a macadamia farm in Tintebar that is the groom’s family property. Sara wore a stunning Jane Hill dress, a hand-beaded gown made especially for her. She wore a very elegant pair of shoes by Aquazzura, and earrings by Dinosaur Design. Nicholas Morley and Alexis Mahoney did her hair and make-up, respectively. Her hair was pulled back in a bun that went with her natural glow make-up. Richard wore a suit by Remy. The pair exchanged their wedding rings by King Street Design, Anise Event Catering catered the event, and the couple danced to I Believe in a Thing Called Love by The Darkness, their first dance as a married couple. The outdoor celebration would not be complete without a reception under a marquee. There are a lot of different marquee hire in Sydney available for different occasions, but the couple hosted theirs with Lismore Party & Events Hire. What made it even more special was her mother-in-law’s bulbs and plants that bloomed on the day of the wedding itself. It took planning and hard work leading up to the day of the event, and it most certainly paid off.

The Aesthetics

The occasion was celebrated following a white and green motif. The white flowers that Sara’s mother-in-law planted bloomed beautifully on the day, and perfectly matched the arrangement by Bower Botanicals. The marquee and the linens all matched as well, scented by Jo Malone. Aspiring couples in the city can achieve the same by consulting a marquee hire in Sydney at the early stages of planning the wedding to make sure everything goes well perfectly on their day.

The Love Story

The couple first met through a mutual friend. One day, they were taking their dogs to the park, their usual spot overlooking Sydney Harbor, and Richard suddenly got on one knee. Sara did not hesitate at all, saying it was perfect for them.
